Anyway, in church today Kaila was drawing in her little notebook and then showed me a picture that she drew and explained to me what it was. Then I told her to show it to Daddy and tell him what it was and she promptly said "It's a bug!" So here is the drawing, which has some other scribbles that were added after the original picture, so try to imagine just the face.
Anyway, I thought it was cute and really cool because she is still so young.This evening we went to Dave's Mom and Dad's for dinner and Kaila said the prayer. In fact, anytime you sit down to food, if she is hungry and her food is ready, she will say the prayer even if you aren't at the table and are doing other things. So we've learned to just stop whatever we are doing and say "Amen" at the appropriate time because just a couple months ago she NEVER wanted to say the prayer. Anyway, while she was saying the prayer, she got to "name, Cheesus Christ....DADDY!!" Kade was on the floor and was picking up a ziploc bag that Kaila had left on the floor. When Dave took the bag away she completed, "name, Cheesus Christ, Amen." It was hilarious. She doesn't exactly say Christ either. It is more of a 'w' sound in place of the 'hr', but it looked funny trying to type Cwist. Anyway, that's all for the Cannon family today.
So I guess the thought for the day is treasure the good times, so you have something to look back on when times are hard or rough.
